Just some of his legislative and regulatory lobbying achievements include passage of the California Car Law\, the Highlands Act\, New Jersey’s Global Warming Response Act\, New Jersey’s Fertilizer Law\, and NJ’s Electronic Waste Recycling Law. Jeff also helped the passage of the private well testing law and bear feeding ban; and acquired funding from NJ Gov. Whitman for acquisition of Sterling Forest. On the regulatory side\, he helped the write and design of Category 1 surface water rules. Jeff has worked on teams for Governors McGreever and Corzine. He was also appointed to serve on both HUD Sandy Recovery Task Force and a task force to help restore natural systems. He was named by the Star Ledger as Most Influential People in New Jersey\, was listed on the New Jersey Politics Power List\, and was listed 35th on Insiders 100 Policymakers of 2020\, he was the only environmentalist to do so.

And for decades\, while achieving some important successes in environmental protection\, overall\, the health of our environment for present and future generations has continued to degrade. Currently\, our laws are designed to accommodate pollution rather than to prevent it.  But there is a solution for achieving better\, and much needed\, protection of our environment\, and that is to turn to the ultimate authority—our state and federal constitutions. \nWe all have the right to pure water\, clean air\, and a healthy environment.  It’s time to focus on how to truly secure that right for our own sake and that of future generations.  What would a Green Amendment mean for the state of New Jersey?
