The Time Has Come for a ‘Right’ to Clean Water

Breaking: A U.S. Federal Court has just reaffirmed that there is no right to clean water in the U.S. Constitution. It said that the invasion of our bodies by dangerous toxins allowed to advance as the result of government action is different than sexual assault or forced surgical examination imposed by government officials. Is it though? Should the U.S. constitution seriously provide no clean water right or remedy? Regardless, those in our Green Amendment movement know that a near term and accessible pathway to constitutional recognition and protection of environmental rights can be had through our state-by-state Green Amendment movement.
