Lead Legislators Believe This Could Be A Pivotal Year For The Constitutional Right
What: Leading Michigan State Legislators and advocates will gather to announce filing of the Michigan Green Amendment that would protect the right of all the people of the state to a clean and healthy environment, including clean water, air, and soils; balanced ecosystems; and a stable climate. If passed, Michigan would be the first state to explicitly recognize and protect the environmental justice values of a healthy environment, as well as the right to a safe and stable climate.
