The Progressive Democrats of America – Central New Mexico Chapter, have organized a virtual event on Wednesday, July 14 at 6pm MT / 8pm ET to follow and complement National Green Amendment Day.
The NM Green Amendment and the Environment at the Roundhouse will be the focus of a conversation with Senator Sedillo Lopez and Maya van Rossum, Founder of Green Amendments For The Generations. What are the environmental injustices that have been plaguing New Mexicans for generations? Why isn’t the current system of laws and regulations protecting New Mexicans from environmental harms? How does an environmental constitutional amendment work and what are the plans for getting it before the voters?
