Everyone understands how important our freedom of speech is—that's why it's in the Constitution. Who's to say we can't do the same for our environmental rights? Clean air and clean water are just as important (arguably more), and deserving of the same protections.While on a human level we should be guaranteed these life-sustaining rights, at a legal level, environmental rights do not yet have the highest protection.
