First hearing for the 2025 New Mexico Green Amendment

The 2025 New Mexico Green Amendment (HJR3) is expected to have its first hearing on MONDAY, FEBRUARY 3rd, at 8:30am (MST) by the the House Government, Elections, and Indian Affairs Committee. We need members of the public to speak up in support both in person at the Roundhouse and also on Zoom.

How to Prepare:
- It is not clear how long the public will have to provide comments so we are recommending folks prepare no more than 1 minute of comment.
- Testifying by zoom and want to visually show your support? Print out one of these graphics below on an 8.5” x 11” sheet in color or on colored paper and hang it on the wall behind you.
- Folks should be prepared to use the Raised Hand feature on zoom. It is possible the Committee will ask folks to raise their hands if they are in support or opposed to the Green Amendment. RAISE THOSE HANDS if needed.
