Request a Green Amendment Speaker for Your Next Event
Green Amendments For the Generations has a roster of Green Amendment experts for your next training, community meeting, webinar, or strategy session. Our speakers are happy to accommodate in person or virtual requests.
Maya van Rossum is the founder of Green Amendments For the Generations and a national expert in constitutional environmental rights who serves as our primary speaker. Read more about Maya here.
How Does It Work?
Due to capacity issues and demand for Green Amendment support nationwide, we request that the following parameters be met when requesting Maya van Rossum as a speaker for your event:
- Guaranteed attendance of at least 35 people. Confirmation this attendance level will be met at least 5 days before the event. We will consider smaller groups on a case by case basis, so please still get in touch if you have a smaller group.
- You must provide contact information for all who sign up to attend the event to allow us to follow up with attendees.
- In order to honor Maya’s time and expertise, and to maximize our impact in the movement, we request a speaker fee and coverage of travel expenses if applicable. Please use below as a guideline:
- $350 for weekday events, $500 for weekend events, whether in-person or virtual
- For in person events that require a flight or overnight stay, we request that travel costs be covered by the event host.
- If your event is for an environmental justice community or one for whom an honorarium poses a barrier to engagement, please reach out as an anonymous donor has offered to help cover speaker honorariums on a case by case basis. Please let us know when you get in touch.
Other Speakers
For a Green Amendments speaker other than Maya we request a minimum 15 person attendance and a supporting honorarium for time and travel costs in the range of $50 to $100. This fee can be waived on a case by case basis depending on community audience or need.
All speaker fees support the Green Amendment movement directly.
